Acknowledgement of Land and Commitments

This work is being conducted on the Treaty Lands and Territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, within the bounds of Treaty No. 22 (1820), an agreement between the Mississaugas of the Credit and the Crown. I recognize this land as the traditional territory of Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat, who have long stewarded this land. I acknowledge their enduring presence and contributions and express my commitment to respectful engagement and ongoing learning.

Land acknowledgement adapted from the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation Land Acknowledgement Guidelines.
